I only descovered cus cus some weeks ago, and since that moment I AM in LOVE with it!!!! So, today I have choose to share with you one of my favourite cuc cus recipe!
So, here we go!
- 125 g couscous
- 1 red pepper
- 1 big carrot
- 250 g canned mushrooms
- salt and pepper
- 220 ml water
- sun flower oil
First frie couscous in some oil, till it becomes nice and brown! In a separate pan, frie the vegetables, with oil, a little butter, salt and pepper.
After your couscous is nice and brown, add the water and let it cook for about 15 minutes.
When your couscous it is boiled, add the vegetables and let it cook for other 5 minutes. And that is it! Your couscous it is ready to eat!
Why is it good for you:
- contains vegetables, that are rich in vitamins and mineral, good for your skin and can mentain you healthy now that the winter it is on the corner
- it is rich in fibres, that can help your digestiv system healthy and work propperly
